Bought for £17 15s by Quaritch at the Syston Park sale, Dec. 1884, at which it was sold as a copy of the 1512 edition. Inscribed in pencil 'Sams -- Dartington Lib Rariss'. Given 1918 by E.C. Dewick. Annotation: On h3 verso, beginning of story of St Thomas of Canterbury cancelled, h4-6 removed, end of story on h7r cancelled. Another account of St Thomas similarly censored in quire x (leaf x2 removed, much of x3r cancelled). UkCU,Provenance, Inc.3.K.1.2[3551]: From the collection of A.G.W.
