Binding noteOriginal blind-tooled brown goatskin over wooden boards, rebacked, with decorated brass catches at the fore edge of the upper cover and furniture on the tail edge, traces of leather straps on the lower cover, metal bosses on both covers, and a chain plate at the head edge of the lower cover; title 'Suplementum' written by a gothic hand, with initial in red, on a parchment label glued onto the upper cover; Austria, late 15th century, made for the Franciscans of Eggenburg.

Decoration NoteLarge puzzle initial in red and blue with penwork decoration added in brown ink at a later stage; initials in alternating blue and red, some with added penwork decoration in brown ink; paragraph marks in red; highlighting of printed capitals in yellow; two small decorative shields, possibly bearing the arms of the convent, added to the margins of leaves [t4] verso and [t5] recto; Austria, Eggenburg (?), late 15th century.
Manuscript notesTraces of gathering signatures in ink in the lower right corner of leaves, late 15th century.
Sparse marginal manuscripts notes, including maniculae, Austria, late 15th century.
