NoteArms (azur, a griffin segreant argent) flanked by the initials "I" and "A" at each side, within a laurel wreath with ribbons in colours in the bas-de-page of leave a4 recto, unidentified (late 15th or early 16th century).
Note sur le décorInitial in silver against a ground of red and yellow, with foliate extension in colours and silver supplied by hand (Italy, late 15th or early 16th century.)

Notes manuscritesManuscript marginal nota signs and extensive marginal and interlinear annotations in cursive hands in dark brown and purple ink, including the addition of initials and paragraph marks in green on leaves d3 verso - d6 recto and k1 verso - k7 recto and in purple on leaves a2 recto - a3 verso e2 verso - k1 recto, and extensive manuscript notes on two endpapers added at the beginning and two at the end, including two diagrams in purple on the first added endpaper at the beginning (Italy, late 15th and early 16th century).

Sold at the Bibliotheca Sussexiana sale, Part V, Evans, 22 April - 5 May 1845, lot 497 (together with two other unnamed books).
