ΣημείωσηInscribed 'Monasterij Ranshouen' on leaf a1 recto, late 16th [?] century, i.e. the Augustinian Monastery of S. Pancratius in Ranshofen / Ranshoven, near Braunau am Inn, Upper Austria, founded in 1125 and dissolved in 1811, whose library was transferred en bloc to Munich. Fragment of a oval blue library stamp, reading 'K / <...>adburg [?] / 145' pasted onto lower right corner of the inner side of the upper board. Marked '540' and priced '8/8/' and '/7/u [?]' in pencil on leaf a1 recto, 19th century. John Couch Adams, Lowndean Professor of Astronomy, his bookplate pasted onto the inner side of the upper boards; his bequest to Cambridge University Library in 1892.
