'et nunc est fratris simonis gattule de neapoli secto sancti spiritus de neapoli qui emit a reverendo patre fratre marco Lusitano' (this inscription is written in cipher, the numbers 1-5 being substituted for the vowels a-u). On first title page and at end: 'Est conuentus Sti Spiritus de Neapoli'. Lot 435 in an unidentified sale (slip inserted loosely). Bought July 31 1907 from G. David. Decoration: Initials and paragraph marks supplied in alternating red and blue.
