AnmerkungStamp ' ConfreÌrie de St. Jean l'EÌvang[eliste] / Non nobis domine' in red on leaves [b1] recto and [G7] recto, probably the stamp of an unidentified French branch of the Hospitallers of St John the Evangelist, France, 18th or 19th century. Marked 'N9' on upper pastedown and 'No. 11 [crossed away and substituted by 14]' and '6' on verso of second lower free endpaper, all in pencil. Bought at Sotheby's, 17 December 1894, lot 806.
