Front fly leaf inscribed 'Cardinal Lomenie £2:6s:2d completing an [?] imperfect copy of Payne 1779 = 7:6 [total] 2:13:8 M[ichael] Wodhull July 16th 1792' Bought at the Wodhull sale (consigned by John Edmund Severne, M.P., to whom the library had passed via Wodhull's sister-in-law Mary Ingram and Samuel Amy Severne of Thenford House, Banbury, Northamptonshire), lot 2557, using money from the Rustat Fund. Decoration: Initials, capital strokes and paragraph marks supplied and headings underlined in red.
