NoteInc.1.A.7.2[856]: Provenance: Samuel Sandars, his armorial bookplate, with motto 'Non Bos in lingua', on upper pastedown. Given by Sandars in 1870. UkCU,Inc.2.A.7.2[857]: Provenance: Inscribed 'Carthusiæ Gemnicensis' on leaf [a2] recto, identifiable with the Charterhouse in Gaming, its arms at centre of the upper cover, Austria, 16th century. Old shelfmarks 'IX. C. 7.' and '777 / fol.' inscribed in a circle, both in pencil, on upper pastedown. Marked '+ D.' in red crayon, and priced 'D.r. / .WF [6/10] 62' in pencil on same pastedown.
