NoteTitle from caption at incipit on leaf A2 recto
BM 15th cent., III, 709 leaves the identity of the printer undecided.
The type is identified as Greyff's by GfT 1541 and by Ohly-Sack.
Campbell assigns the printing to the Freres de la Vie Commune, Bruxelles, ca. 1480.
Oates attributes the printing to the Printer of the "1448" Lotharius.
Spaces left blank for initials, occasionally with printed guide letters.
Signatures: A¹² B-H⁸ [J-L⁸] M-V⁸ X¹⁰ y¹². First leaf A1 blank and unsigned, last leaf y12 blank. Leaves A2-A6 signed "A.j., A.j., A.ij., A.nj., A.mj.", gathering X signed "x.j., X.j.-X.mj."

Franciscanorum ambergae' on leaf A2 recto, i.e. the Franciscan monastery of St Bernardinus Senensis at Amberg, Bavaria, Germany, 17th century; their circular stamp 'S B A' with Cross on upper bookblock edge. Given by A.G.W [i.e. Alexander Gordon Wynch] Murray, Librarian of Trinity College, Cambridge, in 1912.
Binding noteBlind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, with paper pastedowns, sewn on three spine double-split alum-tawed skin bands, parchment manuscript fragments used as spine guards and sewing guards at centre of gatherings, two brass catches at fore-edge of upper board, two brass strap-plates and stubs of leather straps for fastening clasps at fore-edge of lower board, leather tabs at bookblock fore-edge marking the beginning of books, Germany, Munich [?], late 15th century. Parchment fragments used as spine guard from a late 12th- or early 13th-century liturgical manuscript, possibly an Antiphoner, including 'Iam n[on] dicam vos servos' and 'Si quis sitit veniat', with interlinear music notation, initials and rubrics in red, Germany [?]. Manuscript title 'Gorichen / Henrich / in .4. Sent' and shelfmark 'Ih' on paper spine labels, Germany, 17th [?] century.
Decoration NoteInitial in blue and red on leaf A1 recto, initials in alternating red and blue, paragraph marks and underlining of captions in red, all supplied by hand, Germany, Reutlingen or Amberg [?], late 15th century.
Manuscript notesOccasional marginal manuscript nota signs and notabilia in cursive hands, Germany, late 15th and early 16th century.
