In another edition (H 8424, BMC I 172 and ISTC ih00017000) the elegiacs of Sebastian Brant here printed on leaf [pi1] verso are dated Idibus Augusti 1497: see Sheppard, 450-451, and ISTC.
Goff H16 dates this edition ca 1493-1500.

Woodcut illustration of the author with 4 hornets on title page on leaf [pi1] recto.
Printed running titles and foliation, the latter with mistakes.
The text of Eugenius IV's Bulla on leaves B5 verso - C4 verso is in a larger font, typographically distinguished from the surrounding commentary and all other texts.
Spaces left blank for initials.
Signatures: [pi²] A-Y⁶.
