Sinoni>ma Ciceronis' inscribed in capitals in ink along bookblock edges, Italy, Veneto, ca. 1480s. Bifolium from a 13th-century manuscript of Boethius. De consolatione philosophiae, Book III, Proses X-XI and Verse X, initials in red with simple penwork decoration in blue, used as upper pastedown and conjoint free endpaper.
