Given by Gow to Stephen Gaselee on 26 July 1917 and inscribed 'S. Gaselee hunc librum, pignus amicitiae, nuptiam commemorationem, d[ono]. d[edit]. A. S. F. Gow / a. d. vij Kal. Aug[usti] a. s. MCMXVIJ' on upper pastedown. Gaselee's name, Magdalene College Cambridge address and bibliographical notes in ink, and number '94' in pencil on first upper free endpaper. Listed in S. Gaselee, A list of the early printed books in the possession of Stephen Gaselee, Cambridge, 1920, p. 13, no. 94. Presented by Gaselee on 5 November 1934.
