S.C.C.' on leaf [a1] recto. Bought of Cockerell in 1934 by John Charrington, M.A., Trinity College, on upper pastedown; given by him in 1934. UkCU,Inc.3.B.3.23a[1450, 1451]: Provenance: William Morris, designer, author, and visionary socialist, his Kelmscott House printed booklabel on upper pastedown. Laurence W. Hodson of Compton Hall, near Wolverhampton, his booklabel on upper pastedown; his sale, 3-5 December 1906, lot 12. Booklabel and acquisition note 'Bought at Sotheby's 3 Dec. 1906 £ IH1/4' by John Charrington, M.A., Trinity College, on upper pastedown; given by him in 1916.
