Binding noteOriginal calf over unbevelled wooden boards, blind-tooled in a diaper, with title 'P[ri]ma p[ar]s su[m]me fr[atr]is Anthonini' on a parchment label pasted onto upper board, and traces of leather straps and metal catches, Northern Italy, Bolzano (Bozen), late 15th century. Title 'Anth I' written in ink across the head of the fore edge. Rebacked.
Decoration NoteInitials with crude foliate decoration in red, green and purple, some inhabited by human heads, the grotesque of a human head on leaf e4r; puzzle or plain initials and paragraph marks in red or green; printed capitals highlighted in red; Northern Italy, Bolzano (Bozen), late 15th century.
