Superb exemplaire imprime sur velin’, therefore it is probably not the Bodleian copy. The notes '6a' in brown ink on verso of the front endleaf. The pencilled number ‘300' in lower left-hand corner of verso of the front endleaf.

Note sur le décorOn [a1r] a six-line German initial ‘U' is supplied in interlocked red and brown ink with reserved white decoration. Similar initials are supplied at the beginning of each book of Valerius Maximus. Elsewhere one- to three-line initials are supplied in red or green ink, paragraph marks and underlining in red, and capital strokes in yellow.
