Page numbering at the beginning seems to avoid the damage, showing that the damage precedes. Numbering up to leave 149 on the upper left corner, then changes to the right.

Binding noteAll the Vatopedi incunabula were bound in either blue, black or purple (though the spines have now all faded to a light brown) quarter binding in the second half of the 19th century. Sprinkled edges. In 1870 the Monastery signed a contract with the deacon Anthimos and the monk Savvas from the Skiti of Saint Dimitrios to rebind a large number of their books.
