Binding noteAll the Vatopedi incunabula were bound in either blue, black or purple (though the spines have now all faded to a light brown) quarter binding in the second half of the 19th century. Sprinkled edges. In 1870 the Monastery signed a contract with the deacon Anthimos and the monk Savvas from the Skiti of Saint Dimitrios to rebind a large number of their books.
