copyFeaturesNoteIn this variant, a line of text was omitted at the top of leaf ι1r in the original setting, and the missing line added in ms., presumably in the printing house. [Other copies of this variant noted at Seville, Munich, the Vatican, Harvard, and the University of California, Los Angeles] In the later variant, the first three lines at the top of leaf ι1r have been reset in smaller type, to add the omitted line of text. [Other copies of this variant noted at Madrid and Vienna, and the other copy at Princeton.]

Notes manuscritesA very few marginal translations. Ms. notes on the front free endleaf (recto and verso) and on the title page (a list of languages into which the Psalms have been translated, with initials "HP" at head) may be in the same hand as the two pages of Latin verse on leaf υ8v and the recto of the first rear endleaf. Each psalm is numbered in ms. On the front pastedown is a table relating arabic numbers with their Greek alphabetic counterparts. A prayer in German, dated 1552 at the head, occupies the entire verso of the rear free endleaf; a German verse at the top of the rear pastedown may be related. Identity of the hands not certain.
