Decoration NoteCuts colored. The pages facing the cuts present blue, red, and green floral borders with gold bezants, edged in gold and black; some orange in the curls of the edges of the letter and in the border, and some flowers; the work of a contemporary Neapolitan artist according to Quaritch. Main initials are supplied in blue with white penwork on a gold ground edged in black; inside the letter a circle in gold filled with red/purple colouring with floral design of the same, in different shades. Other main initials are supplied in gold on a shaped blue ground with white penwork, inside the letter red/purple with white penwork.
