His grandson Hans Hieronymus Imhoff sold much of what remained of the Imhoff collection (British Museum, online Collection database: ID120207; see also British Library online Catalogue of illuminated manuscript, Arundel 503).

AnmerkungThomas Howard purchased Pirckheimer's library in Nuremberg in 1636. Henry Howard, who inherited the library, preseted it to the Royal Society in 1666/67. The donated collection is recalled in the stamp of the Royal Society as the Library of the Dukes of Norfolk (see below).
