NotesWoodcuts. If Han was dating by the Nativity style, then the true date is 1466 (cf. A. Esch in Gb Jb 1993 p.47). Donati supposed the date as printed to be a falsification, but the book was in the possession of Giovanni Baroncelli, who died on 18 Apr. 1468 (C. Bianca in Roma nel Rinascimento 1996, pp. 314-17)
