For date of printing see BMC and CIBN: one of the Paris BN copies has a printed letter of dedication to Louis XI dated 3 Feb. 1482. G. Ianziti, Humanistic Historiography under the Sforzas (Oxford 1988) pp. 211-19, argues that printing finished in 1483
Prelims: dedications to the Duke Lodovico Sforza il Moro and Giangaleazzo Sforza. The vellum copy in Paris BN replaces the first of these with a printed dedication to Louis XI
