The 'De clavibus sapientiae' is a Latin translation by Jacobus Beneventanus of the Italian 'Proverbi' which go under the name of Schiavo di Bari or Il Savio Romano (GW enters under Baro). Cf. C.H. Haskins, Studies in mediaeval culture, p. 142-143. The wanting last leaf may have contained the Pseudo- Ovidius: Philomela, a work now attributed to Eugenius Toletanus, as in the other editions from these printers
