NotesDated by Hillard. It is not clear whether differences in transcription between the old Mazarine catalogue (p.727 no.706) and Polain(B) are due to errors or differing issues of this work. The Manchester JRL copy agrees with Mazarine in reading Laniis and venerabilis in the colophon, against Polain's Lamiis and venerabili. The edition of De Lamiis ascribed to Mittelhus in Claudin II 12 is not his work (BMC VIII 124 note)
