Institoris, Henricus and Jacobus Sprenger:
Malleus maleficarum

ISTC Nr.ii00163000
VerfasserInstitoris, Henricus and Jacobus Sprenger
TitelMalleus maleficarum
Erscheinungsvermerk[Speyer : Peter Drach, before 1486/87]
Format
AnmerkungenCopies in Washington, Paris, Bonn, Darmstadt, Frankfurt-am-Main, Freiburg, Giessen and Hannover are prefixed by 3 leaves, apparently designed for the book and printed by Schoeffer, containing Innocent VIII's bull against heresy (9 Dec. 1484) and the approbation of the University of Cologne (19 May 1487); cf. F.R. Goff, in Libri 13 (1963-64) pp. 137-41. An entry in Drach's account book indicates that the book was in print prior to 15 April 1487 (Goff), but, GW states that no such entry can be found and it seems to have been an error by Goff. Geldner himself dated the edition [c. 1485] GW gives BSB-Ink‘s [c. 1486/87]
