NotesIn some copies the fifth leaf bears Boccaccio's dedication to Fiammetta, while in others the leaf is blank. The dedication is sometimes found attached in error to Carnerius's edition of Bassi, Fatiche d'Ercole (BMC, CIBN). The colophon date appears variously as .M°.CCCC°.LXXIIIII°. (GW) and .M°.CCCC°.LXXV. (BMC)
