Provenance information on items in CERL's Heritage of the Printed Book database
HPB Provenance is a database that holds provenance-related annotations to items of editions printed after 1501 and retrieved through the Heritage of the Printed Book database. Like MEI, from which it takes the overall structure, HPB Provenance allows the reconstruction of dispersed collections along with facilitating the study of individual copies and the network of owners. Research projects which share their data in HPB Provenance are identified as 'segments' with dedicated titles, such as: MNEMOTECNICA - ASSA PhD Torino, IVRIDICA - Copies and Owners of Law Books etc.
