1 clasp and leather thong present, the other gone. Pasted down inside covers are 2 vellum leaves of an early 12th-century quarto liturgical MS with neumes.

Item 104 in E.P. Goldschmidt's Catalogue No. X, priced £450. In this catalogue, this copy is described, and shown in photographs, as having its binding covered in a 14th-century Hebrew manuscript leaf on vellum. This component of the binding was subsequently removed, perhaps by Harper or another intermediary owner. Its present whereabouts are unknown.

The typewritten transcript from the Goldschmidt catalogue omits any mention of the Hebrew manuscript, describing only the Latin manuscript binding waste on the pastedowns.
